     Basic Positions

The outside hitter is a versatile player positioned on the left side of the court, integral to both offensive attacks and defensive plays.

    Libero (Receiver)

The libero is a specialized defensive player who wears a contrasting jersey and cannot attack or serve.

    Opposite Hitter

Positioned on the right side of the court, the opposite hitter is a primary attacker and often the team's most prolific scorer.

    Serving Specialist

A serving specialist is a player substituted into the game specifically to serve, often in critical situations.

The setter acts as the team's playmaker, orchestrating the offense by delivering accurate sets to attackers.

    Middle Blocker

The middle blocker is a crucial defensive and offensive player positioned at the center of the net. Middles are some of the most physically demanding positions, requiring both offensive and defensive versatility. They specialize in quick attacks and blocking opponent hitters, playing a vital role in both front-row offense and defense. Their role can often determine a team’s success, particularly in high-level matches where blocking and fast attacks are key.
